A white shirt has something about it that makes us reach for it on all sorts of occasions. Sometimes we wear it to work, other times with jeans to meet a friend. We change the trousers, the shoes, roll up the sleeves, and it looks different again.
I wanted Roma to offer exactly these possibilities. To be comfortable, have the right proportions for a tall figure, and feature a few details that make it a pleasure to look at from the back too.
Take a closer look
From afar, you see a white shirt with a striking collar. Up close, you notice the construction that gives it shape.
Double diagonal cuts at the front and back lead from the neckline towards the sides. They define Roma's character and make something happen even in a simple outfit.
On the back, just below the collar, there is pleating. It adds soft volume to the shirt, and the fabric drapes freely over the figure. You'll find a similar detail at the cuffs, where the fuller sleeves gather into delicate pleats.
The cuffs themselves are wide and smooth at the front. The two-button fastening is at the back, so this element is also worth looking at from both sides. The whole is completed by white buttons with the TALLKA logo, discreet and matching the shirt.
Designed for tall women from the start
If you are 180 cm or taller, you probably know that moment when a shirt looks great on the hanger, but when you try it on, the sleeves end too early, and the whole thing just sits… not quite right.
At TALLKA, we start with the construction for a tall figure. Roma has really long sleeves and proportions designed with tall women in mind. Its loose fit gives room to move, and the rounded hem allows it to be worn both tucked into trousers and untucked.

How to wear Roma?
With Emma, when you feel like dressing up
Roma and Emma trousers are a set for work, a meeting, or a family dinner. Tuck the shirt into the trousers to show the high-waisted line, add a belt and your favorite shoes.
White Roma pairs beautifully with navy, chocolate, and burgundy. If you like calm, light combinations, choose Emma in the cream shade.
With Blanco jeans for everyday wear
Jeans and a white shirt are a combination we love to return to. In Roma, you can unbutton the button under the neck, tuck only part of the front into your trousers, and leave the rest loose.
Add sneakers or loafers, a handbag, and you're ready to go. The diagonal cuts and pleating on the back are enough decoration here.
With Vela shorts, when you want to show off your legs
With a shorter bottom, it's worth tucking Roma in to highlight the cut of Vela. The volume of the sleeves and the striking collar complement such a set beautifully. In autumn, add tights and tall boots, and an Adel jacket on top.
And what if you add a little color
We started with white, but I am also planning Roma in black, light blue, and pastel pink. The same cut, but each shade will allow you to create a slightly different outfit.
I see black in evening outfits and with jeans. Light blue with navy Emma, and pastel pink with chocolate or grey. I already want to check them all out, although white Roma will surely stay with me for a long time.
