About Me

Hi, my name is Kamila. I’m 182 cm tall and I’ve always heard that I’m “a little too tall.” But I never believed it was something I should just “accept.”

What I was missing were clothes that truly fit me – and I don’t just mean the size. I mean proportions. Sleeves that end where they should. A waistline that sits at the waist, not somewhere under the bust. Clothes that don’t make you wonder how they will “fit,” but simply… fit.

I know that moment when you look into a shop window and feel like nothing there is for you. When something fits in the shoulders but is too short. Or has the right length but looks like a sack.
And yet every one of us wants to look good and feel like herself.

That’s why TALLKA was born. From the thought: “Maybe it can be different? Maybe clothes can be made for us, not just forced to fit?”
At first, I sewed for myself. Then for my sister, my family. And then – for you.

Sewing has always been part of me

As a little girl, I already knew I wanted to sew. In primary school I made my first clothes for myself and my loved ones – back then, when there were no big chain stores yet and every blouse was sewn “from the heart.”
Later came fashion school, studies at the Technical University of Łódź, and work as a technologist, pattern maker, and designer – in Łódź, Bełchatów, and Gdańsk.

Along the way I became a mother to two wonderful daughters – Pola and Blanka. I sewed for them too. I started “Studio Metka,” and then – for a while – life pulled me away from sewing into the world of interiors, bathroom design, and tiles. I enjoyed it. But I missed sewing.

TALLKA is my return to what’s truly mine. This time – full-time, with a mission and a direction.

Why tall women?

Because I am one of them. And I know what it means to have to choose: length or cut. Style or comfort.
I thought: what if you don’t have to choose anymore?

TALLKA is a place where every tall woman can find something for herself. Something that highlights her figure – not hides it. Something that simply fits. Something that gives relief and confidence.

I don’t want us to keep altering, compromising, “making it work.”
I want us to wear clothes that are made for us.

TALLKA is…

…a brand born from experience, need, and heart. We produce locally, in Poland. In small series – with care, with attention, without mass production.
I personally choose the fabrics. I design with tall women in mind – not “upsized” models, but women like you and me.

TALLKA is clothing with lengths that make sense. With cuts that don’t pretend “it will do.”
With designs that allow you to be yourself – with class, femininity, and comfort. Without shortening. Without rolling up.

And one more thing – none of this would exist without my husband, Jacek. He believed when I still hesitated. He is my support, my driver, and my biggest fan.

This isn’t a brand about height. It’s a brand about fit.
Because when something truly fits you, it changes more than your silhouette. It changes your gaze. And the way you stand – both literally and figuratively.
