I knew from the beginning what I wanted to create.
It was meant to be a feminine yet relaxed style. Comfortable yet classy. One you could wear with sneakers in summer and thick tights and boots in autumn. The Vela short is a combination of a skirt and shorts – it looks light, but ensures nothing will ride up or reveal anything.
And although the idea itself was simple, it took us months to perfect it—four to be exact. We sewed the VELA several times. We moved the pockets, changed the finishing, the zipper, the length, the proportions. But I knew it was worth perfecting every detail. Because once it worked, it was 100% perfect.
I remember the moment I received my first custom-made dress. It was a bit too small, but I already knew it was the one . The length was almost perfect, and my legs looked great. I paired it with a Leone shirt. , because it was being created at the same time, and I posted a photo on the group. The girls were delighted. They couldn't wait for it to appear.
Today, VELA is a shorts that makes an impression.
In summer, wear it with sneakers, flip-flops, or for cycling. In fall and winter, with thicker tights and boots, it transforms into an elegant mini. And because it's shorts, you don't have to worry about anything showing when you bend down to pick up your phone or sit down at a café. Total comfort—no compromises.
You have two versions to choose from:
VELA Premium – made of 100% wool, in black and navy blue.
VELA Basic – made of a blend of viscose and polyester (the same as in LUNGO and EMMA trousers), available in five colors: white, black, beige, navy blue and chocolate.
We sew it in sizes from 34 to 46
and of course in our two lengths: Long and SuperLong ,
so that every tall woman can adjust the leg to her figure – whether she is 180 cm or +188 cm, whether she wears it with sneakers or heels.
If you haven't had a shorts in your wardrobe yet, maybe VELA will be your first. And if you're already familiar with this style, you know this particular one can be your go-to all year round.
